What is on each weekly planner page?

Each page covers seven days, or five if you only want the working week. At the top is the date range and a single line for your focus, the one thing that matters most that week. Below that sit the days themselves, laid out either as hourly time blocks or as lined boxes. Along the bottom are three panels: a top 3 with tick boxes, a to-do list and a notes area.

Everything is built in your browser from the details you type. Nothing is uploaded, and the link in your address bar holds your settings, so you can come back and print the next batch of weeks with the same layout.

  • Date range worked out from your start date, so you never write dates by hand
  • A focus line that stays visible all week
  • Days as hourly time blocks with a half-hour guide, or as lined boxes
  • Top 3, to-do and notes panels on every page
  • 1 to 12 consecutive weeks in one print

Should I use time blocks or lined days?

Time blocks suit weeks that are shaped by the clock: shifts, school runs, meetings, appointments and study sessions. You set when your day starts and ends, from as early as 5am to midnight, and each hour gets its own row with a faint half-hour line. You can then block out meetings, travel and focused work in the right place and see at a glance where the gaps are.

Lined boxes suit weeks that are shaped by tasks rather than hours. Each day becomes a box with ruled lines for a short list, and with a seven-day week the eighth box becomes a spare notes area. Many people use lined days at home and time blocks at work, and because the maker remembers your settings in the link, it is easy to keep a link for each.

How do you plan a week on paper?

A simple routine works better than a complicated one. This is a pattern that fits the layout of the sheet. It works well as a short session on a Sunday evening or a Monday morning.

  1. Write the fixed things first: appointments, shifts, classes and anything with a set time.
  2. Choose one focus for the week and write it on the focus line. If everything is a priority, nothing is.
  3. Pick three tasks that would make the week feel done and put them in the top 3.
  4. Give each of those three a slot in a specific day, so they have a time and not just a place on a list.
  5. Put smaller jobs on the to-do list and pull them into gaps as the week goes on.
  6. At the end of the week, tick what is done and move anything unfinished to next week's page.

Can I print a month or a whole term at once?

Yes. Choose up to 12 weeks and each week follows on from the last, with the correct dates printed on every page and a small week counter in the corner. Twelve weeks covers a typical school term or a quarter at work. If you hole-punch the pages or slip them into a folder, you have a dated planner that matches your real calendar.

The top 3 you type only prints on the first week, because priorities change. Later weeks get blank tick boxes for you to fill in when you plan them. Your focus line repeats on every page, which is handy when you are working towards one thing for several weeks. If you would rather write a new focus each week, leave that field empty and the line prints blank.

Is a weekly calendar printable the same as a weekly planner?

People use the two names for nearly the same thing. A weekly calendar usually means a one week calendar printable with the days laid out side by side, which is what the time block layout gives you. A weekly planner usually adds space for priorities and lists, which is what the panels along the bottom are for. This maker does both on one page.

If you want a whole year or month at a glance instead, the 2027 calendar maker on this site prints a year page and twelve month grids. If you are working towards one bigger goal over three months, the 90-day planner breaks it into monthly steps and gives each week its own page.

How do I get a clean print?

Pick the paper size that matches your printer: US Letter in the United States and Canada, A4 almost everywhere else. The maker guesses from your browser language, but you can change it. In the print dialog, set margins to none or default and scale to 100 percent, because the pages are already sized to the edge of the safe area.

Ink saver mode swaps the blue for grey and drops the tinted panels, which helps if you are printing a dozen weeks. Saving as a PDF instead of printing lets you keep a copy on your phone or print it later at a library or office.

Questions people ask

Is this weekly planner really free?

Yes. There is no account, no email sign-up and no watermark. You make the planner in your browser and print it or save it as a PDF.

Can my week start on Sunday or Monday?

Your week starts on whatever date you choose. Pick a Sunday for a Sunday start, a Monday for a Monday start, or any other day, such as the first day of a new job or term.

Can I print only Monday to Friday?

Yes. Set days per page to 5 and the page shows five days from your start date. Choose a Monday as the start date to get Monday to Friday.

What hours can the time blocks cover?

Your day can start between 5am and 10am and end between 5pm and midnight. Each hour gets its own row with a faint half-hour line, in 12 hour or 24 hour format.

How many weeks can I print at once?

From 1 to 12 weeks. Each page carries the right dates and a week number, such as Week 3 of 8, so the pages stay in order.

Does the planner save what I type?

Your settings live only in the page link, not on our servers. Copy the link to keep it, and open it later to print the same layout again for the next weeks.

Will it fit A4 and US Letter paper?

Yes. Choose your paper size before printing and the page is laid out for that size, with nothing cut off at the edges.
