What is in this Valentine's printable set?

Valentine's Day at school usually means a card for every classmate, and that is a lot of names to write in small handwriting. This maker does the writing for you. Paste a class list and each child gets their own card, already addressed.

The same page also makes two gifts for a partner, parent or friend: a sheet of love coupons and a page of reasons you love them. Everything is free, works in your browser and prints on A4 or US Letter.

How do I make class valentines for every name?

Paste the class list into the first box, one name per line. You can add up to 40 names, which covers most classes with room for teachers. Every name gets its own card, and the maker adds pages as needed, eight cards to each.

Type the sender's name in the From box so it prints on every card, or leave it empty for your child to sign each one. The message defaults to "Happy Valentine's Day!" and you can change it to anything up to 70 characters.

Some classes ask for cards only, with no sweets, so check the class rules before taping a treat to each card. A sticker, a pencil or a bookmark slips into a card easily if treats are not allowed.

When is Valentine's Day in 2027?

Valentine's Day is always on 14 February. In 2027 it falls on a Sunday, so if your child's class swaps cards, it may happen on a school day before or after. Check with the teacher which day they plan to use.

Printing a week or so early gives time for signing, decorating and any reprints if a new name joins the class.

What should I write on love coupons?

A love coupon is a small promise your partner can cash in whenever they like. The set starts with eight ideas, such as breakfast in bed, a movie night where they pick the film and a week where you do the washing up. Replace them with your own, up to 16 promises.

The best coupons are specific to the two of you. A favourite walk, a meal only you cook or a job they dislike that you will take on for a day all mean more than a generic treat. Each coupon prints with who it is for and who it is from, and says it is valid whenever they like.

• Something you do together: a picnic, a board game night, a walk to a favourite place.
• Something you do for them: a meal, a lie-in, a chore taken off their list.
• Something small and silly: a hug on demand, control of the music for a car journey.

A reasons I love you page

The reasons page is a numbered list of 15 lines with the person's name at the top. Type your reasons in the box, one per line, and they print in order. Any lines you leave empty stay blank, so you can finish them by hand, which many people prefer for something this personal.

It works for partners, and also for children writing about a parent or grandparent. Fold it into a card or roll it up with a ribbon.

Printing tips and privacy

Card stock or thick paper makes sturdier class valentines. If you are printing a big class set, the ink saver option swaps the pink accents for grey and saves colour ink.

Names and messages stay in the link after the # in your browser and are never sent to a server. Save the link and you can reprint next year with a new class list.
