What is in this 4th of July printable set?

Three printables for a backyard cookout, a block party or a family day at the park. They fill themselves in from what you type: your name on the planner, your guests in the table, your kids' names across the fun list.

Everything is free and runs in your browser with no account. Print on A4 or US Letter, or save as a PDF to share with a co-host.

  • A BBQ party planner: grill menu, shopping list, a guest table with what each person is bringing, and a set-up checklist.
  • Patriotic bingo: 4 to 30 different cards, two to a page, plus a caller sheet to cut up.
  • A kids' fun list: ten activities with a tick column for each child and a short list of sparkler rules.

How do I plan a Fourth of July BBQ?

Start with a headcount and a menu, then share out the rest. The planner gives you space for both on one page. Write what is going on the grill, tick off the shopping list, and use the guest table to track who is bringing what and who has confirmed.

The guest table shows up to ten guests. If you leave it empty, you get blank rows to fill in by hand. Pin the page to the fridge so everyone in the house can see what is still missing.

  1. Fill in the date and start time in the maker.
  2. List your guests, then ask each one to bring a side, a dessert or drinks.
  3. Write the grill menu and check it against your shopping list.
  4. Tick off set-up jobs on the morning of the party: chairs, shade, bags for trash and recycling, music.
  5. Print a second copy for whoever is running the grill.

How does Fourth of July bingo work?

Each card is a 5 by 5 grid of Fourth of July words with a free square in the middle. The built-in list has 30 words, from fireworks and the flag to watermelon, lawn chairs and apple pie. Every card is a different arrangement, so you will not get two winners on the first call.

Prefer your own words? Type them one per line. With 24 or more you get full cards, and inside jokes like "Grandpa's famous ribs" make it much more fun. The last page is a caller sheet: cut the words out and draw them from a bowl, or tick them off as you call.

Bingo also works without a caller. Hand out cards before the fireworks and let people mark what they spot during the evening, like a scavenger hunt.

  • Print 4 cards for a small family game, up to 30 for a block party.
  • Use stickers, coins or crayons as markers so cards can be reused.
  • Small prizes like ice pops or glow sticks work well for kids.

What can kids do on the Fourth of July?

The fun list has ten easy activities, like making a paper flag, decorating a bike for a parade, a sack race and a glow stick dance party. Add up to five kids' names and each gets a column of boxes to tick. Leave the names out and you get three blank columns.

It keeps younger kids busy in the long stretch between lunch and dark, and it gives older kids a reason to help the little ones.

What sparkler rules are on the sheet?

The bottom of the kids' page has a short list of common-sense rules for families who use sparklers: a grown-up lights every sparkler, shoes stay on, sparklers are held at arm's length and pointed away from people, everyone stands apart, and finished sparklers go straight into a bucket of water. There is a line for everyone to sign.

It is a house rules sheet, not safety advice. Rules on fireworks and sparklers differ from place to place, so check what applies where you live and follow the instructions on the packet.

When is the Fourth of July in 2027?

Independence Day is always 4 July. In 2027 it falls on a Sunday, so the federal holiday is observed on Monday 5 July. Many families will have a long weekend, which makes Saturday or Sunday a natural choice for a cookout.

The planner starts on 4 July. Change the date in the maker if your party is on another day.

Printing tips and privacy

Choose A4 or US Letter before printing. Bingo cards hold up better on card stock, especially outdoors. The ink saver option turns the red accents grey if you are printing a big stack.

Your guest names, kids' names and bingo words stay in the link after the # in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server. Bookmark the page and next year's party is already half planned.
